A plate of our photographs
talk about all of our good times we had
when we were together, my dear.

It's been so far away
since I last talked to you.
But I asked if you could stay,
and you said we were through.
I wish that we were happy,

I miss your smiling face,
whenever we would laugh.
It makes me want to play,
but I think we moved too fast.
I wish I held my grasp,

Sometimes, there is a time,
where time flies by and
you just don't want to know why
the time wasn't right
for you and I.
So I sit, and sigh
and laugh and cry
and focus on the nicer things in my life.
But that was you
when we were two
and we would laugh all day and night.
And then we'd sit inside
and watch the time fly right by our eyes.
Both of our beautiful eyes.
And the stars would shine so bright.
Because we need the light
to see what is in front of our eyes.
It was our future,
in a perfect picture.
But now it's all gone.

Wishing through and through the night, it was so fine,
but it all was just a waste of time, both yours and mine.

of this phase that you're in.
